Turmeric is an essential beauty product used in India going back many centuries due to its anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant properties. This is attributed to its active ingredient, called curcumin.
Not only is it used as a spice for cooking, but also as a healing remedy. As a natural antioxidant, curcumin has the ability to reduce sun damage. It is the most inexpensive and natural way to get beautiful, glowing skin. It can be particularly helpful in treating a variety of skin conditions such as acne, psoriasis, and dermatitis.
